Overview
Egypt holds the oldest chapters of the biblical story — the land of the Exodus, the flight of the Holy Family, the desert fathers of early Christianity. Climb Mount Sinai at dawn and stand where Moses received the Law. Visit the ancient monasteries of the Sinai Peninsula. Sail the Nile and stand before the pyramids of Giza. Egypt is overwhelming in its scale and its antiquity — and deeply moving for the pilgrim who comes with open eyes.
