About This Tour

Overview

Rome is where Peter and Paul were martyred, where the early Church survived persecution, and where Christianity became the faith of an empire. Walk the ancient streets — the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Catacombs beneath the city. Stand in St. Peter's Square. Visit the great basilicas. Travel to Assisi, the home of Francis, and feel the simplicity and joy of his vision. Rome rewards the pilgrim who comes slowly and with attention.
